My teaching philosophy is that the student is the main focus. I aim to incorporate the student´s personal interests into the language learning process. I aim to make the learning process enjoyable and to develop intrinsic motivation within my students. Language learning issometimes difficult, but ultimately fun, and the learning process should be too!

My immersive methodology will have you speaking in no time at all. I find that classes geared towards tangible and real social situations help the best. I love to incorporate art, sports, culture and other subjects for interesting and dynamic classes.

I have several years of teaching experience in Beijing, China as well as several years year of experience in Madrid, Spain. I received my MA degree in International Education from the bilingual English-Spanish program at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Madrid. With my education and dedication to language learning, I can improve your English language skills in practical and compehensive ways. I aim to use dynamic learning strategies in teaching grammar, and especially pronunciation. I enjoy using improv as a way to foce the brain to make linguistic connections and force your verbal skills to flow and become fluent overtime.

I have also studied many languages and speak Spanish, Portuguese, Croatian and Mandarin Chinese. I understand the complexities, challenges and sucesses of learning new languages and applying them in the real world. Language learning can be very exciting and open doors to worlds unkown. I look forward to getting to know you and learning together!
