Jeremie Lortie

Hello, my name Is Jeremie and I have been tutoring for 3 years now. While doing private tutoring, I dedicate myself to know the student so that the course materials are based on his interests, necessities and competencies. I aim to have challenging lessons that aren't too easy or difficult to keep the student motivated, engaged and interested to learn the new language. I strongly believe in the use of visuals, games and powerpoint to make my teaching as engaging and fun as possible. I've tutored throughout high school for various subjects like: French, English, Mathematics and Music. Given my musical background with the clarinet and the saxophone, I also have no issue to give lessons for these instruments or to use these instruments as a mean to teach English, French or both!

Teaching is my passion, coming from a household with two parents that were teachers, I've picked up strategies and tricks that have positively impacted my teaching abilities. I've also worked with all ages: I've taught from children to the elderly which has given me a great sense of confidence to handle any age group when it comes to teaching.
