Hello there,

I am an university educated, CELTA qualified teacher. I love English and teaching. My background is in art and NGOs which allows me to offer a different type of English class besides the standard exam-based classes.

I write my own class materials on a wide range on topics. For example, local history, Spanish historical characters, Spanish Civil War, LGBT issues, feminism and women's rights, environmental and global justice issues.

I not only teach English but aim to use stories and issues to create engaging and informative classes. For example, I recently gave a class on de-extinction and the concept was entirely new to all of the students and many were unaware of the issue of mass extinction or that the current geological age is known as the Anthropocene.

So this is basically how I work. I avoid all political and ideological discussions yet I ask philosophical questions and I am very interested in the students' views of the world.
