I have a lot of teaching experience - I have a British primary school teaching qualification; a post graduate certificate in education and have taught English in Spanish primary schools for 9 years. I have also worked for the British Council.

I try to provide classes where children learn through play and that are imaginative, fun and engaging. I am flexible and focus on the individual needs of the child. I have a lot of my own teaching resources. I also have an Art degree and where possible I use this to introduce a creative element in the classes. I try to focus on speaking and pronunciation too in order for children to develop their confidence and improve as often this is something that they need more practice in.

I am a speaking examiner for the Cambridge Exams, from Young Learners to Advanced . I have had experience helping students towards achieving their B1 and B2 Cambridge certificates. I have spent several summers teaching in an English summer school working with students from many different countries from elementary to upper intermediate levels.

I live in the north of Madrid near Franco Rodriguez/Estrecho metros.

I charge 30€ an hour but if the classes are for example 1.5 or 2 hours, then it is 25 an hour.
