Karina plans appropriately challenging activities that help push me to improve! She has a great understanding of what topics and activities are helpful to work on and she is always encouraging, helpful, and kind. I can’t recommend her enough!

Karina was my Spanish tutor for about two years. We conducted classes in person until the pandemic began and then presumed virtually. Every class was extremely well prepared, thought out, and cohesive while also catering directly towards my specific needs. Karina not only knows how to explain conjugations and definitions extraordinarily well, but also genuinely cares about the comprehension of the subject matter. I can honestly say that my Spanish has improved phenomenally thanks to Karina. I recommend her for any person wanting to improve their level of Spanish, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

Karina is an excellent teacher! Very friendly and knowledgeable about her language and how to effectively teach it. She also sends resources that you work on during lessons with here that are immensely helpful both during the lesson and for later review. Lots of opportunities to practice and well-planned lessons. Karina's classes are a good mix of things (vocabulary and grammar) and a lot of practical Spanish which really helps your comprehension! She gives you a good foundation every new topic and the lessons build on one another so you don't forget anything you've learned. I studied Spanish for a few years but was also out of practice for a few years and Karina has really helped me gain most of that back as well as things I didn't know before. I would recommend her for both beginners and anyone looking to improve on what they already know!

Before Karina, I went to group classes with a language school and didn’t feel like I was improving fast enough. Now, with Karina, she makes sure I have a solid foundation before moving on. I really enjoy her material and feel more confident with my Spanish.

Karina is very nice and takes the time to explain things well. I've had other teachers in the past that would just read out of a book or focus on things that I just didn't care about. I told this to Karina and she has made sure that I'm happy with the class every time and that we're progressing at a good place.
