Katie Harrison

Hi! I’m Katie, a native English speaker from the United States with a TEFL certification, a degree in International Affairs, and several years of experience teaching and tutoring students online and in the classroom.

My classes are personalized to each student’s goals, level, and learning style. I believe lessons should be engaging, practical, and comfortable—not just focused on memorizing grammar rules. I use a combination of conversation, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and interactive activities to help students build confidence and make real progress.

I have experience working with students of different ages and levels, from beginners to more advanced learners. I have also worked in Spanish schools, which has given me a strong understanding of the challenges Spanish-speaking students can face when learning English.

Depending on your goals, we can focus on conversational English, school support, ELA and writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, exam preparation, or simply becoming more confident speaking English.

I’m patient, friendly, and adaptable, and I always try to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. My goal is not only to help you improve your English, but to make learning it something you genuinely enjoy!
