I offer online or face-to-face classes for teens, adults, and companies, specialising in Business English and preparation for IELTS and Cambridge exams. Classes are tailor-made and can be provided to individuals or small groups. Business English classes can focus on improving business skills such as email writing and giving presentations, as well as improving participants’ vocabulary and level of English in all areas (speaking, reading, writing and listening). I also offer short courses focusing on specific business skills such as report writing, telephone communication and effective communication for meetings. For lessons, I create an English-only environment, as the aim is to improve fluency primarily and thus enhance accuracy. Lessons are participatory and student-centred which means that my role is to facilitate learning and scaffold students as they discover and refine their skills in using English naturally.

I am an experienced Corporate Language Trainer and English Teacher for exam preparation, who has worked across Europe, Asia, and Africa. A native speaker from the UK, who is University educated and has Internationally recognised qualifications for teaching English to speakers of other language and International Business English Training, with over 10 years teaching experience. In addition, I was an IELTS Examiner for 6 years and have prepared numerous students for the exam. Past corporate clients have included British Gas PLC, The American Embassy, Australian Aid, WWF, the Government of the PRC, banks, and numerous international companies.
