Teaching is my passion ever since and that's the very reason I took English as my major in the university. Also, I studied masters in English and Literature. I taught English in the Philippines and in Thailand to Elementary and High School students. I always make sure to have a productive lessons every time I am in class by giving quality lessons as well as fun and engaging contents to the students. Classroom settings have a fixed curriculum to follow in accordance with the mandate of the school system by each country,so I have to prepare my lessons on this context I always want to make sure that I met my students needs and expectations. I could say that my students were never bored in my classes because of the variety of activities prepared for them. Also, I had experienced teaching online classes with the same content to improve student's language structure/grammar, listening,reading, and speaking. For children, as we knew they have short attention span so ample activities to make them motivated and focused must be incorporated such as playing games while learnings. Many games such as action games, guessing game, role playing, Simon says, pronunciation drill, and others can be used. For high school and adults, grammar lessons like perfect tenses,passive/ active voices and conditional sentences are often tackled as they are complicated and confusing to use. So, rules are a must in teaching grammar especially in developing essays and writing thesis statement or research proposals for a higher level students.
