***Hello everyone!/Hola a todo/as! My name is Claudia and I'm a professional, TEFL certified English teacher, with more than 7 years of experience. I currently work as an English Teacher of CFGS Marketing and Advertising at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya. I have been teaching all ages and helping all kinds of students to reach their goals and objectives with this language. I specialise in business English and preparation for English exams with official certificates (First y CAE), so far with great success.***
I have a lot of experience in teaching in-company classes and covering broad topics in business English, from marketing, sales, negotiations, human resources and more! Nevertheless, teaching kids and teenagers is also something that I'm looking forward to, having great contact with them, and conducting active and interesting classes.
I work with official material, such as Cambridge, Pearson, Macmillan and National Geographic but I also base my classes on real-life situations, current economic/political situations and Ted Talk videos.
*I speak in Spanish, so I'll be able to help you understand the differences between these two languages and make sure you'll follow the class topic.
*My classes are ONLINE and FACE-TO-FACE.
I adjust my classes 100% to the student, conducting them in a dynamic way and always taking into consideration many aspects in order to prepare my classes and programs in a way that satisfies students, from short and long-term goals, personal and professional (or educational) needs, incapacities (such as dyslexia) or student's personal likes and dislikes.
My classes are effective, with a lot of material, visuals, audio, and text to cover all the English skills that the student wants to improve. I devote a lot of time to those preparations so that the student can feel that each class is different and the program is personalized.
I will not only help you or your child become more fluent in English but also gain more confidence, become a better professional in your workplace, improve your knowledge about topics interesting to you and answer all your questions, from basic to advanced English!
