Kounik Sankar Bhattacharya

I am an experienced English teacher with a strong background in teaching learners across a wide range of levels and age groups in international settings. Currently based in Barcelona, I teach A1–C1 students, including children, adults, and business professionals, delivering both face-to-face and online lessons as well as private classes for young learners aged 9–14, and adults. I have formal training through a TEFL program, where I taught A1–B2 adult learners and applied structured methodologies such as PPP and TTT to design effective, engaging lessons for both group and one-to-one classes. Earlier in my career, I volunteered as an English teacher with AIESEC in Nepal under the UN's SDG Quality Education initiative, teaching teenagers and pre-teens in large classrooms of up to 45 students while using gamification to improve engagement and comprehension. Together, these experiences have strengthened my adaptability, classroom management skills, and ability to deliver learner-centred lessons across diverse cultural and educational contexts.
