Lara Fernandez

Hello! My name is Lara, and I am a Social Work and Psychology graduate from Australia with experience in tutoring, educational support, and working with children and young people.

I have a passion for travel, languages, and learning about different cultures. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, staying active, and spending time with my dog, Luna. I love meeting new people and helping others build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their goals.

I believe learning English should be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. My lessons are designed to build confidence while developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Whether your goal is to improve school performance, practise conversation, prepare for exams, or gain confidence in everyday English, I will work with you to create personalised lessons that match your level, learning style, and interests.

I have experience supporting students from a range of backgrounds and understand that everyone learns differently. I aim to create a positive and welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and progressing at their own pace.

For younger learners, I like to incorporate interactive activities and games to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable. For older students and adults, I focus on practical communication skills, vocabulary development, grammar, and real-world English that can be used confidently in everyday situations.
