Laura Del Rey

I like to think of myself as a lifelong learner.
I am a flexible, well-organized, dynamic and responsible person with a caring attitude and a sense of humor. I also consider myself an effective team player. I can be very passionate when it comes to teaching languages, and my main professional goal is to inspire students.

For the las two years I have been teaching face to face as well as online - English courses to students of different ages and levels (from A1 to C2).

In 2022 I did an internship at Yes! La Academia. My job consisted of teaching English to students of different ages and levels, following the language school program in order to develop the four language skills. In this regard I used different teaching methods, which included differentiated instruction, lecture-based instruction, group and individual learning, etc.

While teaching face to face classes I have developed the following skills:

- Teach from basic to advanced English skills including reading, writing and speaking.
- Execute lesson with meaning, in a fun and engaging manner.
- Instruct students about the structure and content of the English language.
- Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.


Also, as an online teacher I have gained some experience:
-Preparing and delivering lessons to improve students reading, writing and conversational skills.
-Developing educational content such as notes and quizzes.
- Tailoring my teaching style in accordance with students’ progress
- Tracking and reporting on students’ progress.
-Remaining up to date with our learning software.
