My passion my whole life has been teaching, I went to school to study teaching and I began teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in university. I realize that everyone learns differently and because of this I like to use different teaching styles with all my students so they can reach their full potential. Every student or group of students will have the option of a syllabus in order see what they will be learning in the next class and how they will be reaching their goals. This ensures that the students feel cared for and ready! I want my students to feel comfortable in class, this will come with time. I also understand that it is scary to learn a second language. During class I want you to make mistakes because every mistake means progress is being made.

The class content will directly depend on each individual student and their goals. For example, an A2 exam class would include key exam material that I will provide in order to assist in passing the exam. This would also include practice exams so you know what to expect when you are going to take the exam. We will cover the full exam from listening to writing to reading to speaking. If you only want conversational English, we will focus on speaking.

If you are a parent looking for a tutor for your child we can focus on what you would like your child to know whether it be homework or if you would like them to go at a pace faster than school we can look at more advanced topics. Classes can involve games to make learning a bit more fun. I look forward to working with you!
