I am a Native English speaker from Canada!

After many years of working with ESL students, I understand the various challenges associated with learning a new language.

Specifically, speaking and comprehension skills presents many difficulties for the ESL learner.
Gaining fluency and confidence speaking a new language takes practice and patience.

For this reason, my classes focus on conversational skills, comprehension, and new vocabulary that will assist you in acquiring the necessary tools to gain confidence in your speaking.

In addition, I am happy to adjust my classes to meet your specific goals and needs, whether that be grammar focused, writing, etc.

I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and am TEFL certified.
I am currently working as an English Language Assistant at a secondary institution.

I have experience working with college level ESL students, focusing on academic papers, test prep, conversation, grammar, etc.
