Hello, my name is Linzi and I’m from Newcastle, England. I’ve been teaching English for five years, privately and in an academy and also in primary school. I have experience teaching children from 3 to 16 years old as well as teens and adults. I hold a degree in Spanish Studies and I have a TEFL certificate.
I offer classes to secondary school students and also to adults who are level B1-C2.
In the first class we will talk about why you decided to learn English, and what your goals and interests are. By knowing these three things I will be able to create a course that is highly personalised for you, to help you get the most out of the classes.
In the classes we will take advantage of a variety of media resources in order to have fun and dynamic classes. Not only will we focus on boring stuff like grammar (which is important too!), but also on speaking about topics that interest you, since communicative competence is the real goal of learning any language. What is the point of acing all your grammar tests if you can’t actually say anything?!

Hola soy Linzi de Newcastle, Inglaterra. Llevo cinco años dando clases de inglés a alumnos de primaria y secundaria, y clases particulares a todos. Soy licenciada en filología española y soy certificada en TEFL.
Ofrezco clases para alumnos de primaria, secundaria y para adultos de nivel B1-C2.
La primera clase hablaremos por qué quieres aprender inglés, cuáles son tus objetivos y tus intereses, y así puedo crearte un curso que es muy personalizado.
En las clases aprovecharemos de una variedad de medios para asegurar que las clases son interesantes y dinámicas. No solo nos enfocaremos en las cosas aburridas como la gramática (¡que es importante también!) sino también en hablar de temas que te interesen, ya que la capacidad de comunicación realmente es la meta de aprender un idioma. ¿Para qué sirve sacar dieces en todos los exámenes de gramática si no sabes decir nada?
