Hello, I'm Carolina, and I'm from Ecuador. I have a strong passion for teaching, and my journey began during my volunteering experience in Bolivia, where I taught Spanish. This opportunity allowed me to immerse myself in different cultural backgrounds and learn from them. I find great joy in both learning and teaching languages.
I was fortunate to be a Spanish teacher at Universidad de Navarra for a year. This experience have provided me with valuable insights into the diverse profiles of students and has taught me to tailor my classes to their specific needs. Additionally, I am proficient in English and have a basic understanding of French.
In terms of my education, I hold a degree in tourism and a master's degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. These qualifications have equipped me with the necessary skills to effectively teach Spanish to non-native speakers.
Aside from my professional pursuits, I am an avid climber. I have a deep appreciation for nature, adventure, and traveling, which further enriches my life and experiences.
I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language. As a teacher, I try to find the easiest way to explain a topic. During our conversations, I will provide new vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation. Likewise, if necessary, I will explain any specific topic for the improvement of my student's performance. Most of my classes are based on comunicative competence that meas we will practice your speaking skills as much as we can. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
I consider that the best way to teach is by learning. During my classes, we will board several topics of conversation to learn from each other. And then, we will identify the topics that might need some revision. I like to have a friendly and dynamic environment so that the learning of the language is entertained and efficient.
