I love to connect with my students wherever they're at! I know English can be a tough language, but I've also seen it open so many doors for people. I always begin our classes by asking you what you want to learn, and how you learn best. I always begin our classes by asking you what you want to learn, and how you learn best. I will always ask many questions, but don't worry, I will go slow enough for you to understand fully ;)
To give you a glimpse of my experience, I have taught full classes of high school aged students in Murcia, Spain, as well as individual English lessons to students aged 7 to 50 from all over the world. In addition, while working at a restaurant in California 2023, the establishment paid me to teach English lessons to kitchen staff members who could not speak English. Primarily immigrants who had lived in California for a number of years, they hadn’t had the time or money to learn English. I was amazed at how impactful these lessons were and how grateful everyone was to receive them.
I'm originally from San Jose, California, but have lived in Oregon, Colorado, Murcia, Spain and now I'm living in Barcelona studying music. I will also attempt to bring songs into our classes as much as possible, as it's not only fun, but also helps you learn some fun phrases!
Let's make these classes fun and engaging! I want you to enjoy speaking English, not just see it as a task you have to do to check some boxes. Just think of all the opportunities you can have if you can be bilingual!
