Hello! My name is Lucia, I’m 23 years old and I finished my degree in early childhood education this year, where I have learnt some very interesting educational methods (the Montessori method is my favourite) and I have also received a lot of training in developmental psychology and child psychology, my favourite area of the degree. I have also learnt how to detect psychosocial and motor problems at an early age. My final degree project is a study on the importance of educating in harmony with the environment, as I consider myself a very conscientious person in this aspect and I think it is very important to take care of the planet.
I have done five months of work experience at the Stephen Perse Foundation as an assistant teacher in a classroom with children between 3 and 4 years old, where I have worked hand in hand with the classroom tutor, carrying out educational projects and learning methods based (among many things) on storytelling. The school's educational system places the pupil at the centre of the learning wheel.
In addition, at the school I did several courses of: children with allergies, stress awareness, mental health awareness, fire awareness, manual handling, equality, diversity and inclusion.
During the months of my internship I also worked as a babysitter of a 3 month old baby after school. The experience was wonderful as I also learned a lot about care and education in another age range.

Personally I am a very calm, patient and tidy person. I love nature, reading, drawing, listening to music and playing team sports. I have done swimming, volleyball and skating.

I am vaccinated against COVID and I also have a booster vaccination.
