As a TEFL/TESOL-qualified educator with a strong academic background and a diverse professional career spanning hospitality, academia, and the arts, I bring a well-rounded, adaptable, and communicative approach to teaching.
I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in History of Art and Museum Studies (Liverpool, UK), and I am currently completing a Master’s in Philosophy at Birkbeck, University of London, with completion expected in September 2025. My academic training has deepened my ability to think critically, engage learners in meaningful discussions, and design thoughtful, structured content—all key elements of effective language teaching.
Although I am a non-native English speaker, I am fluent at a C2 level and have used English professionally for over two decades, both in the UK and abroad. My TEFL & TESOL Level 5 Diploma, completed in April 2025, equips me to confidently teach adults, teenagers, and professionals in one-on-one or group settings. Additionally, my previous work as a university lecturer and my leadership experience in hospitality have provided me with extensive experience in public speaking, mentoring, and team training—skills I now bring to the classroom.
Now based in Madrid and dedicated to a long-term teaching career, I am excited to contribute my international perspective, student-centred mindset, and passion for communication to your team. I am especially interested in helping learners build confidence in practical English through engaging, real-world scenarios—whether in conversation classes, exam prep, or business-focused instruction.
