English teacher with a BSc Psychology and Trinity certTESOL

I'm writing to apply for an English teaching position with you which I have seen posted online. Since finishing my certTESOL course earlier this year I have found that I enjoy teaching even more than I’d anticipated. I love waking up and feeling as though I’m genuinely contributing something positive to students’ lives and I wish to continue doing so. I have lots of experience of living and working abroad including in Australia, Germany and I am already based in Madrid. Over the summer I was based in Brighton, UK, teaching at EC English summer camp which has provided me with invaluable experience of teaching students between the ages of 10 and 17 and at A2-B2 levels, as well as 3 weeks of adult classes that I covered for the same company. I am currently working for International House on a part-time basis in the afternoons/evenings teaching a mix of young learners and adults. I am looking for another part-time job for the mornings to fill up my schedule. I am an organised person and this shows in my lesson planning, which I always try to make interesting and of genuine use to the class I’m teaching. I believe that I am approachable both in and out of the classroom which is important for providing support and encouragement to my students.
