From my experience, the best way to learn a language is improving the ability to be able to have and maintain everyday conversations. So that's why I use conversation so the student can listen to the language and speak it, because a language must be heard and spoken. I also teach pronunciation and intonation and I correct them when they do not pronounce correctly. I always speak slowly, and in a clear way.
