I’m L-Jay and I am a American Social Dance Teacher (“Dirty Dancing” style).

Throughout my 25-year career in the Performing Arts, I have taught dance all over Australia and Norway, and in London, Sweden and Spain.

I teach American Style Ballroom, which is a modern style of dance for today's dance floors and music. I teach you to be an all-round dancer. So rather than learning just one dance, I teach you how easy it is to dance all styles, which means you will be able to dance to any music, on any dance floor, with any partner.

**I specialise in teaching beginners. Lead/follow. 100% freestyle. No routines to remember - I teach you the elements of dance so you can be free to dance what you want.

I also teach Bridal Dance for couples, and I choreograph routines for various events and groups.

Waltzes - Modern/English, Foxtrots - Social/English, Rumbas - Box/International/Bolero, Cha Cha (Cowboy), Mambo/Salsa (Classic/LA), Swings (East Coast, Jive, Lindy Hop, Hustle), Tango (American), Samba (Maxixe)
