Alton has been my English teacher for the past year and half.
My main goals were to improve my English fluency and pronunciation.
Since our first classes Alton has looked for new ways for me to reach my goals and
expectations.
As he is a really creative person, he has selected on a continued basis a good selection
of topics, articles and books to be used in order to have very interesting, fun and
productive classes. This was really engaging for me as it prevented me to fall in any
routine and, to the contrary, it made me widen my interest for new topics.
All in all, I gained confidence as I saw my fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation
improve.
Alton is focused on assessing my performance and level of enthusiasm to adjust content
when needed. Something to be pointed out is he is consistent in coming to class very
well prepared.
Finally, this way of conducting classes with him allowed me to discover a person with
solid values, amazingly curious for history and culture.
