My name is Manuel Múlio Júnior, I am 24 years old, a student at Eduardo Mondlane University - expected graduation this year - and
trained in Basic Computing from the User Perspective, further developed and improved through
experiences acquired throughout my professional career in several institutions, in areas similar to
teaching/tutoring, with proficiency in English and Portuguese. Intermediate command Instruction
of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), E-mail, and Computer Networks.
Throughout my process of teaching I used the following methods to teach and engage my students: Language Communicative Approach, where I allow every student to speak, even if they commit mistakes, since they can learn through their mistakes. And I use Student-Centered, where I focus on active learning, student's personal interests involving them in real world situations so that they can adapt what they have learnt outside the classroom. In my last role as a tutor, I helped my pupils to achieve one of their goals - confidence to speak in public.
Therefore, after seeing a vacancy announcement, I would like to submit my application for the
position of English Teacher/Tutor. I believe that the institutional and online experience I acquired throughout my
work experience will allow me to offer a significant and positive contribution to your institution/team.
