Hello , I appreciate your attention and consideration to be your future teacher in your journey to learning,
I am currently located in Houston, Texas with my family.
I have 30 plus years of experience as a certified public school teacher PK-12 grades but my teaching concentration have been in the elementary schools in Texas, USA. I am working part time as a substitute teacher in various schools in my community and also have a part time online reading teacher.
I am a Texas certified teacher in English as a Second Language , Special Education and Early Childhood Education.
My philosophy in teaching is to know my student needs first and find out their needs, Then I target the areas of needs assessed with goals and objectives. I develop activities based on these targeted goals and objectives with practical and hands on learning activities and practice using the I do, We do , You do approach. Then assess their current mastery for the next steps
My students are the focus of my teaching and they must be engaged and are active participant in their own learning, in all 4 areas speaking, listening, reading and writing,
