I have 14 years of TEFL teaching experience. I have c. 7 years of teaching adults and 7 years of teaching children of different ages. I have taught children in primary and secondary to Bachillerato age (and even Infantiles). I have taught adult business workers Business English and also General English.

I have taught using different methodologies according to the course , course objectives, ages, and levels of the students, coursebook materials and their goals and own personal needs and objectives, as well as the demands or requirements consistent with which a particular language academy or educational institution stipulates.

I have a CELTA qualification, so I can use a methodology consistent with these teaching and learning principles. I would often utilise a Person-centred approach when teaching a 1-to-1 class because it is more suitable to adapt a course to the needs of the unique individual learner according to their particular goals and objectives, for example if they require more conversational classes for business meetings etc etc. My CV would demonstrate that I have much experience and have taught a very diverse array of students of ages and levels and backgrounds in different settings - for example, an intensive course for a number of groups of police academy recruits using General and Police-specific vocabulary, which was very demanding.

I am an experienced, friendly, positive and hard-working teacher. I have a a clear, standard southern English speaker who adapts his methodology appropriately according to the type of classes and students as necessary.
