Monica Díaz Fernández

Ever since I started teaching at the elementary school level I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring student’s interest in languages and instilling a sense of self confidence to fully develop their inner potential and talents. I have dedicated my career to each of these pursuits, as my enclosed resume will attest.

I have a wide experience teaching children. Over the course of 11 years I have been enriching my career developing different kind of exciting and primarily fun projects with which they can learn without even realizing it because they are fully motivated and entertained.

In this regard, I have designed and coordinated a broad range of entertaining and creative activities to become the learning process in a very pleasant path. Likewise, following my passion to reinvent and to innovate, I created and directed a pioneering educational proposals related to theatrical performances based on oratory skills to offer a different alternative of learning.

My qualifications include 11 years of elementary teaching experience, Bachelor in elementary education and a current professional educator license (TEFL) and a Diploma in positive psychology.

Currently, I work as an English teacher for adults but in my most recent position as elementary educator for a very known Academy, I taught English to 1st, 2dn and 3rd grade in extracurricular courses. In addition, for more than 10 years I provided effective classroom management, creative lesson plans, detailed student evaluations and highly praised oratory courses.

I am eager to resume my career teaching children.
