Dear Students!
I’m an English teacher who focuses on conversation and real-world communication. My lessons are built around topics that actually matter, such as business and work, U.S. foreign policy, everyday situations, social issues, etc.
I help students learn how English is really spoken, with a strong focus on phrasal verbs (like hang on to someone or look up to someone), collocations (such as sorely needed, do an internship, make do), and idioms (like take the world by storm or come rain or shine).
I don’t believe in memorizing lists of verbs or expressions out of context. When you’re speaking, you don’t have time to stop and think the way you do when you’re writing, so language needs to be internalized, not memorized. That’s why my classes are highly interactive and always centered around real conversations.
I use videos, movies, TV shows, and current content to spark discussion, reactions, and analysis. This helps students build confidence, fluency, and the ability to express themselves naturally in English.

Soy profesora de inglés y me centro en la conversación y la comunicación en el mundo real. Mis clases se basan en temas que realmente importan, como los negocios y el trabajo, la política exterior de los Estados Unidos, situaciones cotidianas, cuestiones sociales y muchos más.
Ayudo a los alumnos a aprender cómo se habla realmente el inglés, con un fuerte énfasis en los verbos fresales (como hang on to someone o look up to someone), las colocaciones (como sorely needed, do an internship o make do) y las expresiones idiomáticas (como take the world by storm o come rain or shine).
No creo en memorizar listas de verbos o expresiones fuera de contexto. Cuando hablas, no tienes tiempo para detenerte y pensar como lo haces cuando escribes, por lo que el lenguaje debe interiorizarse, no memorizarse. Por eso mis clases son muy interactivas y siempre se centran en conversaciones reales.
Utilizo vídeos, películas, programas de televisión y contenidos de actualidad para suscitar debates, reacciones y análisis. Esto ayuda a los alumnos a ganar confianza, fluidez y la capacidad de expresarse con naturalidad en inglés.
