This means evaluating very clearly the strengths and weaknesses of the person learning and adapting learning materials to be relevant and interesting. People of this calibre cannot be treated in any other way than with respect and careful attention to their needs and interests.

The key word here is INTERESTS. So - for instance, I sourced every week materials that would be both unexpected and fascinating - and we worked through them together over a three hour period each week.
