Included in my previous summary. I believe my sessions are all about the student. I don't see myself as a teacher or instructor (though I'm trained as such) but as a guide or COACH. It's all about you and your specific needs.

I work with the "direct method" (English/English) but use my communications background techniques such as non verbal communication, to reach my goal which is, to make my student confident and enjoy the process. In other words, not theoretical but practical.

It's important to me to make sure my student feels, after each class or session, that he/she has improved at least in one of the four aspects: whether it's new vocabulary, & improved pronunciation (speaking), grasping the sounds of the language (reading & understanding), or writing whether for business or in general, always tailored to his/her needs/goals.
In the end the most important factor, besides knowledge and professionalism, on my side and learning on yours, is to CONNECT & ENJOY the class.

Note: We will agree, previous to starting with our classes and after a free 30 minute evaluation, on the materials to be used. I will recommend them based on whether you want and need to focus on General English or Business English.
