Hello all! My name is Oleksa and I am from Toronto, Canada, though I am currently living in Costa Rica. I consider myself a very passionate and creative person with a love for teaching. I enjoy the entire experience of teaching because I have the opportunity to learn from my students and they have the opportunity to learn from me. One of my greatest life experiences so far has been living abroad in Madrid, Spain, where I developed my love for teaching through being an Aupair and working as a private tutor with people of all ages. I have my educational background in both Visual Arts and Art History and Hospitality and Tourism Management. I also hold a TEFL certificate which enables me to properly teach English as a second language due to the training received through the program. I approach teaching by creating unique, fun and effective lesson plans to suit each individual students learning needs based on age, level of English proficiency and learning style. I like to have a well-rounded approach to teaching; working with oral, written and reading skills to help you with anything from English for business purposes, conversational English for travelling, translation/editing, exam preparation and so much more!
