7 Key Principles of My Classes
1. The Power of Small Steps
In my classes, I introduce vocabulary and grammar in small, manageable chunks to avoid overwhelming my students. However, we work dynamically.
2. Logic and System
The Russian language is highly logical, and I have a clear system in place for teaching grammar. By following the correct sequence, my students understand the logic of the language.
3. Lots of Practice
I believe in less theory and more practice. Whenever you learn something new in my class, we immediately put it to practice. We train forms, make dialogues, stories, and discuss.
4. Living Language
The language we use in my classes is authentic and live. You will not hear strange, artificial phrases. Instead, you will learn to speak and make sentences like native speakers. All the dialogues, texts, and audio we use are 100% authentic.
5. More Than Just a Language
Learning a new language is like gaining a new outlook on life. To better understand grammar, we must understand how native speakers see the world. In my lessons, you will learn to think in Russian.
6. Russian in Russian
The intermediary language in the lesson slows down your progress. I know the technique that allows me to work without an intermediary language. Almost all the time I speak Russian with my students in class. And yes, they understand me perfectly!
7. Support and Motivation
As your teacher, I am always willing to help, share my knowledge, and support you. I love psychology and use my knowledge to help students learn more effectively.
