Onawa Powell

Come learn English with me! My name is Onawa (oh-now-uh) and I am a certified English teacher from the United States. I have been teaching English for five years - face-to-face and online. Classes with me are special because I make personalised content just for you! I put together interesting lessons for every single one of my learners based on their age, experience, and level.

What are my classes like?
We will explore new vocabulary, we will practice different sentence structures and how to use English grammar smoothly, and of course we will have plenty of interesting discussions in English and you will have a safe and encouraging space to practice speaking and most importantly... to make mistakes and learn from them! For my students who want it, I assign writing prompts for homework which we can also review together in our class.
