I have experience teaching in primary and secondary schools, so I have experience on making my lesson fun, interactives and full of a diversity of tasks.
I believe that practicing the language in divers ways can stimulate the learning of grammar, memorizing vocabulary and it can also facilitate the use of vocabulary while receiving the necessary support.
I normally structure my lessons into three main parts: revising previous vocabulary learnt and resolving any doubts and questions that the pupils might have, and then we move into the learning part of the lesson. I structure this main part into 4 aspects of language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening. The final part is to finish practising what it was learnt during the lesson to link it with previous learning so the pupil can see the progression on learning the target language.
I like to add some cultural backgrounds into the lesson, as I had lived in Argentina, in Spain and in Philippines, which countries have a Spanish culture or background.
A good way to learn a language is to use media like music, reading articles, news papers and films, so I always consider on looking into those materials that will add language understanding, comprehensive listening skills and also historical backgrounds for those aiming to know more about the Spanish culture.
I focus the lessons depending on what are the needs and wants of the people that I teach, so I like to emphasize to my pupils to always leave a feedback after the lessons so I know which material is more desirable for their learning and what type of task they will like to have more often.
