Previous teaching experience includes both in person and online classes to beginner level and up to advanced level students, consisting of both young learners and adults in general and business English. The lessons I teach offer a fun and dynamic structure where you will be able to develop all four key language skills - reading, listening, speaking and writing. I use a variety of different materials, and often my own, to ensure my classes are tailored to your own interests and specific areas of development. My classes are engaging and interactive, with the skills being acquired and taught developing seamlessly through each activity.

A typical class will start with a fun and lighthearted activity and conversation to encourage you to feel more comfortable and think in English. We will then focus on a comprehension skill tailored around the target language or grammar objective of the class before looking at these things in more detail. After that we will put what we have learnt into practice so that by the end of the class you will have successfully grasped new vocabulary and grammar. My main aim is to have you walk away each time feeling that you understood and learnt something new in English that will help you feel more confident in practicing both next time in and out of the classroom.
