My English classes are active, structured, and built around your voice. We don’t just study grammar and poems – we learn to think, debate, and write with impact. Every lesson starts with a clear goal: What will you be able to do by the end of today? That means no wasted time. You’ll know exactly what success looks like and how to get there. You’ll do writing workshops where you draft, share, and refine real pieces — persuasive speeches, analytical essays, personal narratives, and reports. In group discussions and Socratic seminars you’ll learn to listen, build on others’ ideas, and defend your point with evidence. Through presentations you’ll build confidence speaking in public, and through text analysis we’ll break down real-world articles, stories, and speeches to see how great writers create meaning and influence readers.I give specific, actionable feedback on every major task. Then we use DIRT – Dedicated Improvement & Reflection Time – so you actually act on that feedback and get better, not just get marked. Mistakes are treated as data. Progress is visible. With 5+ years teaching English in Pakistan and Ajman, UAE, and as Senior Coordinator and Teacher Trainer with Aga Khan Education Service, I understand our classrooms deeply. I know how to support EAL learners with clear scaffolds, vocabulary banks, and sentence frames, while also stretching high achievers with extended challenges, leadership roles, and extension texts. Differentiation is built in, not added on.Expect high standards, lots of talk, and a class where your ideas matter. We will take risks, ask big questions, and connect English to your life, your community, and your future. By the end of the term you won’t just know more English — you’ll use it with confidence to express yourself, influence others, and succeed in school and beyond.
