Hello ESL students!

Originally from Los Angeles and a native English speaker with bilingual Spanish, I have spent more than 24 years teaching English in Spain across academic, corporate, and public-sector environments.

My commitment to teaching is closely tied to my long-standing relationship with Spain and the people I have worked with throughout my career. What began as a way to remain in the country I admire most became a vocation shaped by years of collaboration with Spanish professionals, institutions, and international teams.

Most recently, since 2010, I have served as the exclusive English service provider for Intelygenz, now part of the VASS Group, delivering tailored Business and Technical English training to professionals working in software development, AI, and digital transformation. This long-term partnership has allowed me to develop a practical, results-driven approach to communication training, adapted to real professional challenges and multicultural settings across international projects exclusively in English.

In parallel, I have worked with international schools, language institutions, and public bodies, including the American College of Madrid, INAP, Universidad de León, ESL magazines, and Tandem Escuela Internacional. I combine this professional experience with a solid academic background, holding a B.A. with Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and completing Doctoral studies with a DEA in Intercultural Studies and Translation at the University of León.

Colleagues and clients value my reliability, adaptability, and long-term commitment, as well as my immediate availability to work legally in Spain thanks to my dual U.S.–Spanish citizenship. I take pride in building lasting professional relationships and delivering training that makes a tangible difference.
