Hi, my name is Samuel. I am 30 years old, I'm from Australia and I have been living in Barcelona, Spain, for 8 years. I am highly professional with and have 5 years of teaching experience working in English academies, private schools, and doing one on one English tutoring.

I primarily teach Spanish speakers, and have experience teaching all ages and levels. From toddlers, to children and teens teens all the way to adults, and students first ever English classes through to advance literary analysis, argument development and essay writing.

I have a degree in Early Childhood education and have worked as a teacher in Open Space English Academy Barcelona, and Learning Guide Assistant in Learnlife Barcelona Hub. I also am in ongoing studies of Economics.

I am a calm and fun teacher and my teaching method focusses first on creating a healthy learning environment. I strive to be kind to my students so they feel safe and comfortable, which I believe is an essential mindset for learning. Then I focus on a logic based 'one step at a time' approach, incorporating goals and purpose. I strive for my students to understand English concepts within speaking, gramma, spelling, sentence formulation and structure. I put a lot of focus on pronunciation so that my students will sound fluent (even when they are not yet fluent).

I have a wide range of availabilities and offer both in person classes (within the municipality of Barcelona) and online classes (global). I also offer group classes for a reduced rate. My rates are case dependent and reduce for more hours, if classes are online and how many students are in the class.
