Sergei Sergeev

My name is Sergei Sergeev, and I am an English teacher and translator. From a young age, I have been passionate about English, actively attending language courses and conversation clubs alongside my school studies. This passion guided me to pursue a degree in Foreign Languages at Pedagogical University (Herzen University), laying the foundation for my career in language education and translation.

After graduating, I began my career as an English tutor and teacher at language courses, specializing in preparing students for international exams such as IELTS and Cambridge exams. I also have experience in written translation, including fiction works such as John Gwynne's 'Malice.'

In my leisure time, I indulge in watching movies and TV series, reading books—particularly in the fantasy and sci-fi genres—hiking, and exploring urban environments.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I believe that speaking is key to understanding how a language functions, so my lessons are full of discussion practice with a bit of grammar.
