Setayesh

Hello! I’m Setayesh, an English teacher with around 1.5 years of experience providing private English lessons to learners with different levels, needs, and goals. I have also volunteered as an English teacher for children from vulnerable backgrounds, which taught me how important patience, flexibility, and encouragement are when working with learners of different ages and learning styles.

I have an IELTS Academic score of 7.5, including 8.5 in Listening and 7.5 in Reading, and I have completed a Teacher Training Course (TTC) with an A grade. My training included lesson planning, classroom management, teaching young learners, grammar and vocabulary, pronunciation, and speaking activities.

In my classes, I don’t believe in using exactly the same method for every student. I first try to understand the learner’s current level, goals, interests, and difficulties, and then adapt the lessons accordingly. Depending on the student, classes may include conversation practice, pronunciation work, vocabulary building, grammar explanations, listening activities, reading, or practical speaking tasks. For younger learners, I can also use games and interactive activities to make learning more enjoyable and engaging.

My goal is not simply to teach rules or vocabulary, but to help students feel comfortable actually using English. I encourage students to participate, ask questions, make mistakes, and gradually become more confident in communication.
