Hi everyone! I'm Shakiba, a 26-year-old bilingual English teacher living in Barcelona.

I specialize in General English, Business English, and Cambridge, LanguageCert, and IELTS Examinations. Whatever your goal, I can help you achieve it.

My academic background is in tourism, travel, and events. I completed my undergraduate degree in Tourism Management in Tehran, before pursuing a Master's in Tourism Business Management with Specialisation in Events in Barcelona. Throughout my studies, my passion for English and meeting new people has propelled me into various teaching roles, where I've helped many students boost their confidence and improve their fluency.

I’m a laid-back yet organised person who loves making new connections, travelling to new places, and sharing good vibes with friends. In my down time I love reading, boxing, and watching TV and films in different languages.

With over 8 years of experience in teaching, my passion for English has only deepened over the years.

My love for the English language started early. I was a dedicated student for 12 years, immersing myself and absorbing as much English as possible, with the result that I am now bilingual. I soon learned I had a talent for the language and pursued a teacher training course in 2019 so that I could share my passion with other people. Following that, I pursued specialized IELTS training, equipping myself to guide students through the intricacies of this crucial language proficiency test.

I have experience teaching in established English academies in both Iran and Spain, where I’ve taught both in person and online, to individual students and groups of various ages and levels.

My lessons are engaging, communication-focused, and adapted to suit your needs; if you need to work on your conversational skills or get ready for an exam, that's what we're going to do! We won’t waste any time on anything that won’t benefit you or help you improve.
