Sharon Mariet Pereyra Buezo

My name is Sharon and I am from Bolivia, I grew up in the US, in California where I lived for 12 years.
In 2012 I obtained my bachelor's degree in Environmental engineering and when I was doing my Master's degree in Barcelona 2015 I started to teach English, I completely fell in love with it and have been teaching English ever since. In 2020 I obtained my CELTA, which helped me to improve my skills as teacher so much!
I have taught different levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and different ages, from 5 years old children to elderly people.
I also have experience teaching and preparing students for officials exams such as YLEs (Starters, Movers and Flyers), KET A2, PET B1, First for Schools and FCE B2 and CAE C1, as well as IELTS and TOELF ibt.
My teaching techniques are based on dinamic exchange of constant information so I can learn as much from my students as possible and this way I'll be able to personalize the lessons, create engaging lesson plans and keep the students interested in the language, also I try to give my students as much feedback as possible because this way my students can focus on what to improve in order to obtain a better level and achieve their personal goals.
