I am an experienced English teacher from the UK who lives in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. I have an MA in Religion, MEd in English Teaching, and a PGCE (qualified secondary school teacher). I have taught English at universities and colleges in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Estonia and England.

My main methods of teaching are content-based learning (CBL) and content and language integrated learning (CLIL). Learning English through matching up learners' interests more closely to the target language. This leads to higher motivation as well as more interesting and fulfilling lessons. I also have prepared students for Cambridge exams.

English Communication (focus on fluency through speaking and task-based learning).
Four Skills Study (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
British Culture (Introduction to British culture and life).
