I’m a US native who spent four and a half years teaching English in Spain at private academies. My duties included helping students prepare for Cambridge exams, supporting them with English schoolwork, and delivering new grammar and functional language lessons. I’ve taught students from as young as 3 to over 60 years old. Now that I’m back in the United States, I can only offer online lessons. My availibility is already set to your time zone. The first class is free and lasts about 30 minutes. Before our first meeting, I’ll send a needs analysis to complete, and a level test if you’re unsure of your current level. For kids, I’ll send a needs analysis to parents or caregivers and use interactive activities to assess their level. I speak some Spanish but prefer to keep lessons “English only.” I’m TEFL certified, and my lessons are student-centered to maximize learning. I also have experience teaching online and am comfortable using Zoom, WhatsApp, and Skype, though I’m open to other platforms like WeChat, Discord, or Google Meet. My expectations are simple: notify me 30 minutes in advance if you’re running late, give 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, participate in English, and understand that your results depend on the effort you put in. I’ll always do my best to help you reach your goals as teaching is my passion.
Please allow some time for me to get back to you due to the time difference!
