Hi! I'm Swathi, an experienced educator with a background in teaching diverse learners across different backgrounds, learning styles, and ability levels. As a former Teach For India Fellow, I spent two years designing and delivering lessons entirely from scratch for students from low-income communities in Chennai, learning very quickly that no two students learn the same way, and that the best teaching is the kind that meets you exactly where you are.
My classes are structured enough to give you a clear sense of progress, but flexible enough to follow your pace, your goals, and your interests. Whether you're a complete beginner finding your footing, an intermediate learner wanting to build confidence, or an advanced speaker looking to polish your fluency and expression. I tailor every session to what you actually need.
No two classes look the same. We might spend a session dissecting a news article, practising a real-life scenario like a job interview or a difficult conversation, debating a topic you're passionate about, or working through something from a film or show you love. Whatever keeps you engaged and talking, that's what we'll use.
I prepare every class with clear goals in mind, but I'm always ready to throw the plan out the window if something more useful comes up in conversation. That's where the real learning happens.
