Hello! My name is Tekla, and I am an English tutor currently pursuing an MBA in Hospitality Management at Vatel Madrid. I have been speaking English since kindergarten and have always been passionate about communication, human connection, and helping people feel confident expressing themselves.

My teaching style is based on creating a comfortable and motivating environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes. I strongly believe that the best way to learn a language is through speaking, real conversations, and building confidence rather than focusing only on memorization or grammar exercises. Many people already know more English than they think — they simply need the right support and encouragement to use it without insecurities.

I have experience creating personalized teaching plans for Saturday schools in different educational environments, adapting lessons depending on each student’s level, goals, and personality. My classes are interactive, practical, and personalized. Depending on the student’s needs, we can focus on conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, public speaking confidence, school support, or everyday communication skills. I especially enjoy helping students improve their fluency naturally through engaging discussions and real-life situations.

Because of my international background and hospitality experience, I understand how important communication is in both personal and professional life. I am patient, approachable, and highly adaptable, and I always aim to make lessons enjoyable rather than stressful.

One of the most important values for me is accessibility in education. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn a language if they truly want to, regardless of their financial situation. Learning English can open doors to education, travel, career opportunities, and confidence, and I want my classes to remain approachable and affordable so more people can experience that opportunity.

My goal as a tutor is not only to teach English, but also to help students feel more confident, open, and comfortable communicating with the world around them.
