Fun and experienced English teacher for kids and adults alike

I have graduated from a Human Geography degree. I have been tutoring for two years now, with adults and children, from complete beginners to focused exam preparation for 8-18 year olds. Most recently I was working with newly arrived refugees to the UK who were complete beginners, focusing on English to access services and preparation for English Citizenship tests. I really enjoy the process of teaching and finding different ways that different people learn. I like to focus lessons on what students want to get out of their English, whether that be conversation, work, or exam preparation, utilizing interesting real-life material to do so. I think wherever you are from languages are so important, hence the process of learning them should be fun and memorable. I want to further my own teaching skills, and also utilize teaching as a means to travel and learn languages myself.
