Vasco Viana

Hello, my name is Vasco and I´m from Portugal. I currently live in Prague but I’m moving to Copenhagen in March, 2024. I have over 500 hours of teaching experience, both online and onsite, to levels ranging from beginners to advanced and ages ranging from 8 to 80.
I have a background in fine arts and cinema and am also a filmmaker. My arts studies help me approach my English classes in a fun and engaging way, always looking for out of the box solutions to teach the topics present in the curriculum.
My aim as a teacher is to make students feel like they are learning something that has a practical application in their day to day, while at the same time enjoying the time they spend in the classroom.
I have 3 years of teaching experience between onsite language schools, business English classes, private tutelage and even extra-curricular film classes for children. I am a CELTA certified English teacher.
As a teacher, I strive to find a balance between work and play, with exercises and games which can help students engage with the subject in more depth.
With a background in fine arts and cinema, I bring creativity and excitement to my classes. I aim to make the learning experience practical and enjoyable, with interactive exercises and games.
