Velma Grisham Del Arco

I have just graduated from English studies at the universidad Complutense de Madrid and I can't wait to start working with English, especially kids and teens. I love the early periods of childhood and adolescence, as I find them to be a very special part of our lives in the process of becoming ourselves. I have one year of experience with online classes to children from 10 years old to 15. I try to make it as appealing and entertaining as possible, so my activities were orientated to read, listen, talk or write about topics of their interest, such as personality tests in English, short stories, articles on nature and environment, good quotes from English writers or movies, etc. In then end, it is about getting them to feel comfortable with speaking in English, so they can discover how easy it is to improve when you dedicate more time to it by doing the same things you usually do only in a different language, such as watching movies in original version or reading articles in English. I'm a flexible and organised person, open to any suggestions and ideas that can help me improve as a teacher or educator in English. I live in Madrid, next to Manoteras metro station.
