Victor Dahbura

My experience started back in February 2003, that is when I initially began working as an English teacher for a second language and since that day, I realize that is something that I enjoy doing a lot, In my career, I have had many different experiences such as being able to work for different Call Center companies such as Office Depot, Guardian dental insurance, customer service, technical support, which have given me a wide variety of knowledge in different topics and vocabulary, also I have been working with teenagers, adults, and toddlers but more specifically with teenagers and adults, I have been a job counselor and also I have been able to coach some trainees and students to be able to get the job that they were looking for.

I have also done some volunteer work in the past, I remembered that I was an interpreter for some doctors right here in my country, they came to do some volunteering work as well as they were helping low-income families in different areas of my country so that is one of the experiences that I like to remember the most because it helped me understand what volunteering work was and I have also been helping during certain occasions to some communities as well as helping low-income students from an NGO that they were having difficult times and they almost were involved into criminal activities if It was not for this NGO that helped them avoid this type of life.

I consider myself prepared to teach English at any level since I was also part of the Youth Ambassador program back in 2019, I was selected among different teachers from my country and also Central America, that participated to be able to be part of this program as mentors, and we were in Virginia and Washington DC for a month being in charge of low-income children that they were from different Central American countries. Throughout my 19 years of experience, I consider myself well prepared and I have the knowledge, patience and love for teaching others because I know that by doing that, I might be helping them improve their lives and get better jobs or better job offers or positions within the job that they have at the time.
